Mississippi Lt. Gov. Tate Reeves on Monday in Washington, D.C., will be sworn in as chairman of the Republican Lieutenant Governors Association.
Reeves, vice chairman, was elected to replace Nevada Lt. Gov. Brian Krolicki as chairman.
He will be sworn in at the organization’s annual policy summit, at which former Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour will be keynote speaker.
Reeves, 39, served two terms as state treasurer before being elected lieutenant governor in 2011.
