Estes said his campaign theme consists of one word.
“Jobs — there’s nothing else but jobs,” said Estes, 38. “It’s time somebody stepped up to the plate and not be afraid to cut spending, regulations, rules and unnecessary taxes, and get the wheels to turning again to create jobs.”
Though he’s qualified as a Republican, the Tea Party activist says “I’m a business owner, not a politician.”
Estes will officially announce his candidacy at a press conference at 11 a.m. Monday at his shop, 2876 Stanton Road in Southaven.
