Roger Wicker to speak Tuesday at opening of new MSU tech building at Stennis Space Center

BAY ST. LOUIS, Mississippi — Mississippi State University will open its science and technology center at the Stennis Space Center in Hancock County on Tuesday.

U.S. Sen. Roger Wicker, R-Miss., is scheduled to speak.

The $9 million research center was funded by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. It will be home to the MSU-led Northern Gulf Institute and researchers from its Geosystems Research Institute.
