Nunnelee’s courage and his deep desire to serve were always evident. Perhaps more important is the fact in the midst of the political grind, Nunnelee has never lost his good humor and his humanity.
Nunnelee is a good husband, a good father and grandfather, and a reliable and trustworthy friend. He served the public trust honorably in Jackson and in Washington for 20 years.
Entering hospice was a choice to put his future where I’m certain he would tell you he believes it has always been — in God’s hands. There he will remain until the next leg of his remarkable journey begins.
