SDN Bulldog Blog’s Exclusive Conversation with ESPN’s Jimmy Dykes

Q) Jimmy, you and I were both in courtside at Humphrey Coliseum Tuesday night so simply put – give us your first-hand account of what you were seeing and feeling throughout the game?

A) Well let’s start with the first 40 or so minutes okay? I want to say that the electricity, emotion and passion we all felt throughout Humphrey Coliseum Tuesday night in Starkville was the most electric environment I’ve been involved in for quite some time. The Hump was rocking and rolling with a undermanned Mississippi State team, without Ravern Johnson for the whole game and Jarvis Varnado for most of the second half, taking the number-two ranked team in the country to the brink of one of the biggest upsets this season.
