Two Mississippi Aldermen have been arrested for filing fraudulent statements, according to Attorney General Jim Hood.

Authorities say 48-year-old Jeffrey Riley an Alderman for the city of Sledge, and 41-year-old Ontario Braxton, an Alderman for the city of Coahoma, were both arrested Thursday in separate and unrelated cases….

…Riley and Braxton are both convicted felons and are accused of intentionally failing to reveal that information in their qualifying paperwork.
