BILOXI — The Thunder on the Bay air show at Keesler Air Force Base on Saturday drew the expected 70,000 people and then some.
There was a report that people were turned away because the crowd was so large. If you missed the show, there’s a repeat performance today.
The show was a mix of parachutists and planes, vintage and the most modern military aircraft plus action in the air and on the ground.
The Thunderbirds were delayed about an hour because a part for one of the airplanes had to be flown in and crews worked all night and day so the plane could fly.
