Snowden: Supreme Court health care ruling has silver lining

There’s a silver lining in Thursday’s U.S. Supreme Court ruling on the health care overhaul, says one conservative Mississippi lawmaker.

In the midst of upholding the Affordable Care Act, the court also ruled to narrow their interpretation of the Commerce Clause, said Rep. Greg Snowden, R-Meridian.

“The past interpretations of the clause was pretty elastic,” Snowden said of the wording in the U.S. Constitution that is often invoked by Congress to support regulations of business and interstate commerce.
