South Panola’s Parker lives up to monicker

Easter Rayford nicknamed the grandsons she’s reared “Big” and “Little” when they were toddlers.
After his breakout junior season for South Panola, Nick Parker’s moniker might be due for a slight adjustment.

Big Game? Big Play? Big Time?
All might fit the rugged and tireless tailback from Batesville’s football factory.
Few players in Mississippi produced in 2008 like Parker, the third player to be announced for the 21st edition of The Clarion-Ledger Dandy Dozen. He’s the 17th South Panola player – the most from any school – to land a spot on the coveted preseason Dream Team.
