Storylines endless for this year’s Masters

Early Thursday morning, Arnold Palmer will step to the first tee in the April chill sure to envelope Augusta National, hit the ceremonial opening tee shot with that familiar corkscrew motion and another Masters tournament will come to life.
Among the many things the Masters does better than any other event in golf is deliver stories.

From Gene Sarazen’s double eagle in 1935 through Jack Nicklaus’ improbable victory in 1986 and into the age of Tiger Woods, the Masters has given us a collection of stories that has made it more than a golf tournament.
