Texas-Oklahoma matchup has it all

It isn’t easy for a rivalry with a tradition as rich as Texas-Oklahoma built over more than a century to get any bigger.
And, yet, it just did.
“It’s going to be a real challenge,” Sooners coach Bob Stoops said, and I think he was talking about stopping the Longhorns, although he could have been addressing the idea of squeezing 92,000 Texas and OU fans into a “new and improved” Cotton Bowl … by 11 a.m.

The game gets an early start. The loser of this battle between No. 1 and No. 5 probably gets an early finish to its Big 12 title hopes.
