Mississippi taxpayers have spent $21 million to fund the state legislature for the 13-month period ending in June.
Does anyone out there think we got our money’s worth?
House Speaker Billy McCoy and his sidekicks are responsible for most of the slowdown, lack of action, and problems in the state legislature.
McCoy, as you may remember, won his title by just one vote.
Just a couple of replacements in the next election could assure McCoy’s fall from the throne. Hopefully, Mississippians have gotten enough of the current House regime and will correct the situation at the ballot box.
