It isn’t as if the trophy cases at Alabama are bare. Shelves are loaded with team championship trophies.
But one big trophy had been missing. No more.
Sophomore running back Mark Ingram became the first Alabama player to win the Heisman Trophy on Saturday night, ending a 75-year drought. Afterward, Alabama coach Nick Saban had much to say.
