The Process: Saban’s blueprint has a name, but what exactly is it?

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. — Two words have come to define Nick Saban as a football coach, to explain what he has accomplished, to describe the system he has put in place at Alabama.

Two words have been repeated over and over by fans who revere their coach and revel in the Crimson Tide’s success, words they have heard Saban use repeatedly to summarize his philosophy in football and in life.
The Process.
It’s the blueprint that Saban followed in 2003 to a national championship with LSU.
It’s the master plan that has put top-ranked Alabama (13-0) in the national championship game at 7:38 p.m. Thursday against secondranked Texas (13-0).
