For the third time in the last year, thieves broke into the south Jackson home of the attorney for Jackson’s mayor.
Between 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. today, Reeves said burglars used a crowbar to carve out the deadbolt on one of his doors and stole items from the home in the Alta Woods subdivision.
Taken were an Xbox, guns and a piggy bank belonging to Reeves’ children.
“They were so wrapped up in the stealing, they left the crowbar behind. Police said they’ll see if they can get any fingerprints from it,” said Reeves, a former state lawmaker.
