Tiger’s loss a win for golf

With another Grand Slam season going, going, gone, golf is a far more interesting place today than it was in April, when a surgically repaired Tiger Woods was scheduled to resume his robo-domination of a sport he had zipped inside his bag.

If Woods stepped onto the first tee box at Augusta National with questions surrounding his left knee and leg, nobody doubted Tiger again would dominate the majors sooner or later, with sooner as the leader in the clubhouse.
