It’s about time offensive coordinator/coach-in-waiting Jimbo Fisher starts showing us why he deserves to succeed the iconic Bobby Bowden as head coach at Florida State. A good place to start would be in today’s Champs Sports Bowl against Wisconsin.
Fisher seems like a decent guy, but I’m starting to wonder if he’s not just a creation of Jimmy Sexton — the best and most influential coaching sports agent in the business.
Seriously, have you ever wondered how Fisher miraculously becomes a candidate for all these hot coaching jobs (see FSU, Auburn, West Virginia, et.al.) when his resumé as an offensive coordinator is pedestrian at best?
