On Saturday, the National Baseball Hall of Fame opened a new exhibit — Hank Aaron, Chasing the Dream. It is well deserved and, according to reports from Cooperstown, it has been well received, too.
That comes as no surprise.
It was time Aaron received his own exhibit at the Hall of Fame, where he previously shared space with other members of the game’s 500 home run club. This space, and its message, is all about Aaron. Considering Aaron’s place in the game, his influence during his playing time and beyond, it is a fitting tribute to one of the game’s greatest players and one of Mobile’s native sons.
