TALLAHASSEE — The rival killer was singing.
Singing in the rain.
What a glorious feeling. He was dominant again.
Once more, after his Florida Gators had annihilated yet another rival, Urban Meyer stood on an enemy field in a downpour and joyously sang the school fight song with his Seminole-stomping, Gator-chomping players and fans.
So give a cheer for the orange and blue,
Forever pride of old Florida,
May she droop never.
It seems the only thing drooping since Meyer showed up in Gainesville four years ago is the spirit and psyche of the rivals he routinely obliterates.
