Bryant Supports Arizona’s Immigration Bill; Lumumba Against It

Immigration was the hot topic Thursday both at the Neshoba County Fair and at the State Capitol.

Lt. Gov. Phil Bryant used his speech at the Neshoba County Fair Thursday to fire back at the federal government for stopping Arizona’s immigration bill.

Arizona is appealing a federal judge’s order that put most of the state’s immigration law on hold. The state’s appeal asks that U.S. District Judge Susan Bolton’s preliminary injunction be lifted so that all of the law can take effect.
