Wayne County Republican Party Chairman Kolby Busby took to the campus of Mississippi State this weekend to promote the so far non-existent US Senate campaign of state Senator Chris McDaniel.
Busby encouraged friends on Facebook to, “Come show your support and get your picture taken with our Chris Mcdaniel signs in the Junction #HailState.”
State Sen. McDaniel shared Busby’s post and wrote:
“A special thanks to our friends at MSU today. Although I haven’t decided which office to pursue, your belief in our cause is inspiring. I’m forever grateful. :-)”
This exchange comes on the heels of a few Facebook posts during the past week where McDaniel says, “If you would like to fight for the conservative cause in Mississippi, I’d love to have your help. I have to make a final decision soon. 🙂 Please reply with your county name or email me at [email protected] I will contact you.”
McDaniel also posted a picture of some of his 2014 US Senate race signs in the back of a truck with the caption, “Just received this pic from a buddy. I don’t know about you, but those darn things look reusable. :-).”
In another post, McDaniel takes aim at D.C. GOP leadership, stating, “Mitch McConnell has to go. Now.”
