Notre Dame coach Charlie Weis is going to take on a different role, but he’s not sure what that role will be.
The fourth-year head coach is sure that it will have something to do with the offense after the Irish were shutout 17-0 at Boston College on Saturday. It was third time in two years Notre Dame had been shut out after not having being shut out the 19 years before that.
“I don’t have etched in stone what I’m going to do at this point,” Weis said Sunday during his news conference. “If I’m going to be more involved with game planning and play calling, those types of things, I have to be involved [Monday].”
