Will anyone overtake the SEC as the best football conference in the nation?

Since the Bowl Championship Series was formed in the late ’90s, no one has dominated national championship play in college football like the SEC’s current run.

“That’s a record I think may never be broken,” SEC commissioner Mike Slive said. “It’s an extraordinary record and a great credit to our players and coaches. Now five would be better. But it’s an enormous achievement, it really is.”
