Rising sophomore Patrick Patterson, a former Rivals250 recruit, has been dismissed from the Ole Miss football program, according to multiple sources close to the team.
Patterson, a native of Macon (Noxubee County), Miss., has dealt with issues throughout his short career with the Rebels. Patterson was suspended for one game during his freshman season and again in January, causing him to miss spring practice. The dismissal, according to a source close to the program, is for numerous reasons.
One of the more high-profile signees of the Houston Nutt era, Patterson finishes his Ole Miss career with 12 catches for 180 yards and one touchdown.
