Zach Scruggs, Son of Dickie, Asks Court to Wipe His Slate Clean

Well, well, well. Look who’s back! Zach Scruggs, son of famed tort lawyer Dickie Scruggs, currently in the midst of serving time for conspiring to bribe a Mississippi judge, Henry Lackey.

According to this report in the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal, Scruggs on Thursday asked a court to reexamine his conviction, claiming that the U.S. Supreme Court’s recent ruling on honest-services fraud should take him off the hook.
