The Clarion Ledger today had an article about renegotiating an inmate medical care contract. The article was entitled Hinds supes have second thoughts on inmate medical contract.
In the article Hinds County Supervisor Robert Graham bemoaned the county’s financial shape.
“We just have to face reality. We’re broke,” Graham said. “We have to rob one pot to pay another. We have to see if there’s anything we can do to lower inmate medical costs.”
